Breakdown
Manny Pacquiao vs. Adrien Broner
Pacquiao may be 40 now but I have a hard time seeing a path to victory for Broner. Broner is a counterpuncher, and Pacquiao has had problems with counterpunchers in the past. Mayweather outclassed him and Juan Manuel Marquez gave him fits over four fights. But Broner doesn’t have the skills of Mayweather or the timing of Marquez to catch Pacquiao on the way in. And Broner struggles with volume punchers. The experience is very much on Pacquiao's side. Pacquiao will be too busy and active for him over the course of the fight. Pacquiao by decision

Outcome:
Manny Pacquiao defeats Adrien Broner via unanimous decision (117–111, 116–112, 116–112).
Well that went as expected. In his first fight on U.S. soil since 2016, and his first fight as a 40-year-old, Manny Pacquiao cruised to a unanimous decision victory over Adrien Broner at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas to retain his secondary WBA welterweight title. Using aggression and quickness, Pacquiao outclassed the reticent Broner, who sat back in an attempt to counter, but threw hardly any punches, and landed even fewer.
