Against all odds: Bute vs DeGale, Klitschko vs Fury, and more

Here are the odds for this week's most interesting fights this weekend.

In Dusseldorf, #1 heavyweight contender and +375 Tyson Fury seeks to dethrone aging and longtime former champion Wladimir Klitschko, a -470 favorite. The Ukrainian is too seasoned and even though he is a bit past his prime, he is tons better than the awkward Fury. He should win on points or by late KO.

Quebec City will see its share of boxing this weekend. Mark my words, even though Lucian Bute is the nicest guy, he has no chance, zero, nada, to reclaim the IBF super 168 pound title against budding star and champion James DeGale, a -800 favorite. Bute being a +550 almost seems like a favor to him.

Also, Eleider Alvarez is -140 and in for a surprise against Isaac Chilemba, in a a battle for the WBC #1 spot at light heavyweight. The South African is a hard-nosed and battle-tested warrior and Alvarez is giving up and down performances. I pick Chilemba, a small +120 underdog, to win a close fight.

In a super bantamweight fight in Dartmouth, Canada Jesus Rios is +1750 against Tyson Cave, who is -5250. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Errol Spence Jr is -5250 against +1750 fellow welterweight Alejandro Barrera, so his unbeaten streak should stay intact. Did I say no-brainer?
